Mindfulness and Relaxation Session for the Elderly (90 min)
1. Connection with the Present and Conscious Breathing (30 min)
🔹 Welcome and brief explanation about the importance of mindfulness in well-being.
🔹 Deep breathing exercises to reduce anxiety and improve oxygenation.
🔹 Mindfulness of the body: exploration of physical sensations and progressive relaxation.
🛑 Rest (10 min) – Hydration and relaxed chat.
2. Mindfulness in Movement and the Senses (30 min)
🔹 Smooth and conscious movements to improve mobility without effort.
🔹 Sensory mindfulness practice: listening to music, observing colors or touching different textures.
🔹 Gratitude exercise: remembering positive moments and expressing emotions in a calm manner.
🛑 Break (10 min) – Relaxation space with soft music.
